Just like card collecting often evokes a sense of nostalgia, many folks look back fondly at the days when cereal was cool. You know the days when there was actually a prize at the bottom of the box? 2012 Wax Eye Cereal Killers Series 2 taps into several levels of nostalgia by mashing up endearing cereal boxes with classic horror and genre films. Think of them as an extremely focused spin on the Wacky Packages formula.

Building off of their fun first set, 2012 Wax Eye Cereal Killers Series 2 adds another 55 base cards, which also double as stickers. Mash-ups include Donnie's Dark O's, The Elephant Bran, Queen of the Grahamed and Scream of Wheat. Each of the card fronts are done like a box of cereal and include characters from tons of films, both classic and recent.

Sketch cards lead the chase. Featuring a mix of black and white, and colored art, contributors include Neil Camera, Brent Engstrom, Matthew Kirscht, Mark Pingitore, Joe Simko and Fred Wheaton.

Other inserts in 2012 Wax Eye Cereal Killers Series 2 include Silver Spoon Foil Cards (nine cards), Sugar Glitter Cards (eight cards) and Glow-in-the Dark Stickers (three cards).

2012 Wax Eye Cereal Killers Series 2 comes with two packaging options: traditional packs and mini cereal boxes. The cereal boxes come packaged as sets of three. Both configurations promise a complete base set.

Product Configuration: 24 packs per box, 8 cards per pack
