2012 Topps Update Series Baseball Blockbusters Patch Cards Guide
A running theme through several 2012 Topps Update Series Baseball inserts are big transactions. Blockbusters is a basic insert in the release. Collectors can also look for autographed and game-used versions. Retail blaster boxes also have exclusive 2012 Topps Update Series Baseball Blockbusters Patch Cards.
Each has a large hat logo patch from the team the player was traded to or signed with. These aren't game-used relics. Rather, they're manufactured embroidered patch cards.
The 30-card checklist is mostly current players, although there are retired players as well. Ichiro is the most recent transaction, as his mid-season trade to the Yankees is shown on the card.
