The 2012 SPx Football Rookie Auto Jersey cards are some of the most collectible in the set. Just as the name suggests, each comes with an autograph and a player-worn jersey piece. Every player in the set is a member of the 2012 NFL rookie class. It is important to note that the jersey pieces aren't game-worn. Rather, they are player-worn college jerseys.
Every box of 2012 SPx Football has a Rookie Auto Jersey card. The checklist has 35 different cards split between two levels. Tier 2 cards make up the majority of the 2012 SPx Football Rookie Auto Jersey subset. Each Tier 2 card is numbered to 399. The final eight cards in the set are the toughest to find. Tier 1 cards are numbered to 199. This level also has some of the biggest names in the set, including Robert Griffin III, Michael Floyd and Justin Blackmon. Trent Richardson, also a Tier 1 player, is the only redemption in the set.
Collectors can also look for patch parallels that are numbered to 25.
