2012 Bowman Sterling Football Hot List

2012 Bowman Sterling Football Hot List

Looking for autographs from the NFL's stellar rookie crop? Nearly every set this year features their signatures prominently but none more so than 2012 Bowman Sterling Football. Every pack comes with either a standard autograph card, an autographed relic or an autographed patch. For those keeping score, that's six signatures per box.

Every box of 2012 Bowman Sterling Football also has seven additional relic cards including a jumbo patch and a rookie patch box topper. Yes, the sheer quantity means a lot of second-tier rookies but there are also lots of opportunities for the likes of Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson.

Like most every Bowman product, there are tons of parallels for collectors to chase. As per the usual, it's the low-numbered Refractor hits that often garner the most attention. The Bowman faithful often go after as many colors as possible for their favorite players and prospects.

For 2012 Bowman Sterling Football, there are plenty of Refractors. Base cards, autographs and relics all have their own levels.

Unlike the recently released 2012 Bowman Sterling Baseball, the gridiron version uses sticker autographs. Still, the plentiful ink captures some of the enthusiasm that might have been otherwise lost. The stickers also meant fewer redemption cards.
