Who Made the 2011 Topps All-Star Rookie Team?
The 2011 Topps All-Star Rookie Team has been announced with few surprises. Leading the way are both Rookie of the Year winners, Craig Kimbrel of the Atlanta Braves and Tampa's Jeremy Hellickson. The Toronto Blue Jays were the only team to have two players make the list: Brett Lawrie and J.P. Arencibia.
Limited to one player per position, the 2011 Topps Major League Rookie All-Star Team had a couple of notable names left off. The most debatable is likely Nationals second baseman Danny Espinosa making the cut over Dustin Ackley of the Mariners. Also missing is NL ROY runner-up Freddie Freeman. However, Mark Trumbo's power numbers are first base are hard to deny.
