Southern Hobby raffle to feature UDA Jordan signed jersey
LAS VEGAS – Southern Hobby Supply was searching for a truly special item to highlight its Retailer Raffle at the 2011 Industry Summit. Thanks to Upper Deck Authenticated and Michael Jordan, consider it “mission accomplished.''
Southern Hobby has agreed to provide a 1987 Jordan Authographed Slam Dunk Jersey Archives Edition, limited to 230 pieces, as the headline prize of its 2011 Summit retailer raffle.
According to Dustin Laugherty, primary UDA contact for Southern Hobby, the jersey archives box “is impressive in its size (measures 18 wide x 21 high x 3 deep) and design, as it opens to an eye-catching display of the signed jersey along with a recap of the 1987 slam dunk throw down on the inside jacket cover. Encased in the archives box is a size 54 jersey manufactured by Mitchell & Ness, which was signed by Michael and authenticated via Upper Deck Authenticated's patented five-step process.''
In addition to the autographed Jordan Jersey, Southern Hobby Supply will be giving away 26 unopened wax boxes from Upper Deck, Panini, Topps & Press Pass via its special Summit Welcome Gift.
