Although its arguably the least memorable film in the series, 2005 Topps Batman Begins trading cards is the only set of cards for Christopher Nolan's blockbuster trilogy. Featuring a stellar list of autograph subjects, a broad mix of inserts and a clean base set, it's also one of the top modern sets to carry the Batman name.
The 2005 Topps Batman Begins base set has 90 cards. Like a lot of Topps' movie-based sets, the focus is largely on retelling the plot. They're complimented by 12 character cards that lead of the set as well as a checklist at the end. The card stock is glossy, giving them a slightly more upscale feel, although this had become common practice among entertainment sets by this time.
The top inserts are five autographs. Combining to land 1:120 hobby packs, none are guaranteed in any given hobby box. The checklist has just five cards, all of which rank between solid and fantastic. The rarest are Gary Oldman and Liam Neeson. Neeson, unfortunately, signed all of his cards with a ballpoint pen. Other signers include Michael Caine, Katie Holmes and Cillian Murphy. Christian Bale does not have autographs in the set. Autographs are only in hobby boxes.
While hobby boxes don't promise an autograph, they do come with a memorabilia card. All three have something connected directly to Batman -- either a piece of his costume or a swatch of Batmobile tire. Pieces were used in the making of the film and aren't manufactured relics.
2005 Topps Batman Begins also has several basic inserts. Embossed Foil and Holograms can be found in both hobby and retail packs. Tattoos and Stickers are exclusive to retail packs. Blister packs also have one of three exclusive Bonus cards.

A very well done Batman Begins base card set of 90 cards. The photos are clean and the cards are on nice stock. I definitely recommend this Topps card set.
