With the 2015 NBA Draft in the books, incoming rookies have new hats and jerseys. Almost as quickly as the names were being announced and Adam Silver got his handshake on, Panini was revealing virtual rookie cards for lots of the picks.
Karl-Anthony Towns went first overall with the Minnesota Timberwolves as the team continues to put together a dynamic group of young players. D'Angelo Russell was picked second by the Lakers and emerged as the player with probably some of the most hobby hype heading into 2015-16. Duke's Jhalil Okafor brings even more size to the Philadelphia 76ers at third.
While these virtual cards may not become the real thing when 2015-16 NBA Hoops releases early in the fall, they do give a glimpse at what the design might be. They're also a showcase for some of the fantastic fashion that was on display at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
