When Topps first announced their plans for 2012 Bowman Platinum Baseball, front and center was one of the best Bryce Harper cards made so far. The one-of-one featured a plate from a bat used by the phenom in the Arizona Fall League. And while a massive bat piece would have been cool on its own, this particular chunk is engraved with "Mondo," giving it some added personality.

Well, it didn't take long for the card to surface. In just its second day of release, the 2012 Bowman Platinum Bryce Harper bat plate card has shown up on eBay. Within hours, bidding was already up to the $3,000 range.

According to the seller's item description, the Bryce Harper card was inserted 1:457,000 packs.

The week-long auction ends on Thursday, August 2 at about 9:30 EST.

Bryce Harper has several cards in 2012 Bowman Platinum. These include a rookie card, autographed jumbo patch and a triple autograph where he's featured alongside Anthony Rendon and Matt Purke.
