2014 Topps Series 2 Retail Commemorative Patch Guide

Manufactured patch card exclusives have become a staple for flagship Topps baseball releases in recent years. Sticking with the same pattern are the 2014 Topps Series 2 All-Star Rookie and Commemorative Patch cards.

As with other sets, including patch cards from Series 1, they are inserted one per blaster box. There are 50 different patch cards that are divided equally between two different sets. Commemorative Patch cards return. These have a mix of patches that range from logos to special events to mascots.

All-Star Rookie Patch cards highlight 25 players who have been named to Topps' annual list of the top first-year players. The patches on these cards come in the form of a Topps Rookie Cup. Patch designs vary based on the era the player is from.

The retail patch cards aren't found in the regular packs inside blaster boxes. Rather, the come in their own separate pack.
