Traditionally, one of the most popular football sets of the year for autographs, Panini Contenders is also big on the variations. The 2014 Panini Contenders Football Rookie Ticket Autograph Variations are no different. Coming in a couple of different versions, it adds up to a massive checklist for those with the patience to build the entire set.
Rookie Ticket Autograph RPS Variations
Most of the key rookies are found in the Rookie Ticket Autograph RPS part of the set. Featuring 40 players who participated in the NFLPA Rookie Premiere before the season started, these come with on-card signatures. All have at least one variation. Half of them have a pair of alternate versions.

The Variation I cards come with similarly styled photos. They're posed studio shots of players in their gear. Base Rookie Ticket Autographs are all action shots. Variation II cards are much closer to the base versions, many with very similar shots where an arm is in a slightly different position or the ball is in another hand.
According to Panini, Variation I cards have differing print runs. The rarest have 50 copies. Variation II cards are limited to 30 copies or less.

2014 Panini Contenders Football Rookie Ticket Variations
The Rookie Premiere participants are far from the only first-year players to have autographs in 2014 Panini Contenders Football. The set also has more than 80 other players who have variations. You don't need to look at the photos of the non-RPS rookies, though to know if you have a variation or not. The key is on the side of the card that has the "ticket" elements.
If the "Sec" (section) is at the bottom, it's a base version. If the "Seat" is closest to the bottom, it's a variation.
The Sec/Seat pattern does not apply to the RPS autographs.
