Revenge might seem like a curious choice for a trading card set. But with strong ratings, a compelling storyline and a hot cast, maybe it's not so curious after all. 2013 Cryptozoic Revenge Season 1 trading cards cover the show's debut season while delivering a handful of hits and other inserts.
For those who haven't watched the show, Revenge revolves around a woman returning to the well-to-do Hamptons to get back at the people who did her and her family wrong many moons ago. The cast includes Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe (The Last of the Mohicans). The 2013 Cryptozoic Revenge Season 1 base set captures the first batch of episodes with 90 cards.
Like Cryptozoic's other television trading card sets, Autographs and Wardrobe Cards are also part of the release. Wardrobe Cards, which have pieces of costumes used in the show, are inserted one per box. Autograph signers include Nick Wechsler, Ashley Madekwe and Christa Allen.
Collectors can also look for Sketch Cards. Just don't hold you're breath looking for one. Sketch cards are extremely tough, landing 1:864 packs.
Other basic inserts include Behind the Scenes and Flashback. Both are inserted 1:12 packs.
