2012 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files has one of the franchise's best ever autograph lineups. While 17 signers may not be the biggest signature checklist, the quality is there.
The set is headlined by Harrison Ford, who plays Han Solo. This is only his second Star Wars autograph card and the first couple to make their way to eBay resulted in aggressive asking prices. The other two main heroes from the original trilogy also appear: Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia).
2012 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files Autographs appear in every other box as one of two guaranteed premium inserts. All boxes promise a sketch card. The second hit is either an autograph or a manufactured patch card. These are split evenly across the sets' entire print run.
The autograph cards do use stickers rather than on-card signatures. This enabled Topps to haveEmpire Strikes Back director, Irvin Kershner, in the set. He passed away in November, 2010. The filmmaker previously appeared in 2010 Topps Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back 3D Widevision.
