The day after the 2012 Topps Finest Football Robert Griffin III Autographed Superfractor sold for $3,100, another high-profile one-of-one from the set has surfaced. The 2012 Topps Finest Autographed Jumbo Relic Superfractor Andrew Luck is now listed on eBay.
The seller originally had an opening bid of more than $4,000 but quickly dropped it to $0.99 and no reserve. It's running as a ten-day auction and is scheduled to end on Saturday, September 8 a little before 10:00 PM PST.
The seller is based out of California and has a perfect feedback rating of nearly 200, the majority of which is as a buyer.
The horizontal card has Luck's autograph at the top of the card. The jersey swatch is mostly blue with a stripe of white and stitching. It comes from a player-worn jersey and not one that was used in a game.
This will be one of the top Andrew Luck cards of 2012. By the end of the season, there will be several one-of-ones to choose from, but the Superfractor name carries a lot of weight. The fact that this card has both an autograph and a patch should make it more desirable than the basic autograph. That said, when you're talking one-of-ones, anything goes.
