2012 Leaf Metal Draft Football has both pillars of the Leaf Metal brand: chromium shine and lots of on-card autographs. Boasting three autographs per single-pack box, the release has signatures from many of the top names in the 2012 NFL Draft, including Robert Griffin III, Justin Blackmon, Ryan Tannehill and Trent Richardson. In compiling their checklist, Leaf said they focused specifically on top position players from the most popular schools. While his deal with Press Pass prevents Andrew Luck from having autographs in the set, collectors can find various US Army All-American Luck cards from his high school days. 2012 Leaf Metal Draft Football also has US Army All-American Autographs from some of the game's best high school players, such as Barry Sanders Jr. and Gunner Kiel.
