Upper Deck Signs Exclusive Autograph Deal with NHL Superstar Alexander Ovechkin
Upper Deck, the exclusive provider of NHL licensed hockey cards, has announced an exclusive autograph deal with Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals that will take effect at the start of the 2009-10 season. Ovechkin, the No. 1 overall pick from the 2004 NHL Draft, was named the NHL Rookie of the Year for the 2005-06 season, and has earned back-to-back league NHL MVP trophies over the past two seasons.
Besides signing autographed cards exclusively for new Upper Deck Hockey products, Ovechkin will be featured on 2009-10 Upper Deck Hockey card packaging. Collectors can look forward to seeing new Alexander Ovechkin cards in all 2009-10 Upper Deck Hockey products.
