The Cardboard Connection is looking to hire several new talented writers who are knowledgeable in the following subject areas:

  • English Premier League Football (Soccer) Cards
  • European Football (Soccer) Cards / MLS Soccer Cards
  • Hockey Cards
  • Minor League Prospect Baseball Cards

In addition to having expertise in one or more of the aforementioned subject areas, the ideal candidates will have the following abilities:

  • Strong research skills.
  • Above average writing skills.
  • Excellent fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to write at a high level of grammatical accuracy.

Compensation:

Depending on the position applied for and the level of experience you will be offered monetary compensation in the form of $10-$15 dollars per article or 1 free hobby box of a new release product for every 7-10 articles written.

Mike Smeth is the CEO and Founder of The Cardboard Connection. After collecting baseball cards as a child, he took a 12-year hiatus from the hobby. One muggy summer day in 2006 he unexpectedly came across his childhood card collection while packing up for a move. He began sorting through them so he could sell them on Craigslist.     Great looking web-site Mike. I enjoy collecting my-self. Being doing so since 1991. The first card I ever pulled out of a pack was a Frank Thomas. It was worth $2.50 and the pack of 10 cards was 99 cents. I thought I can get use to this. I’ve been doing it on and off ever since.
