San Francisco Giants World Series Memorabilia to be Auctioned for Charity

Collectors can take home a part of the San Francisco Giants' whirlwind championship on June 18th at an auction that will benefit a local dog rescue. The silent auction will be hosted by Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant in San Francisco and will include such authenticated items as:

  • 2010 World Series official baseball signed by the entire team
  • 2010 All-Star Game official baseball signed ball by team members
  • Official signed ball by Giants Hall of Fame members
  • Official World Series Champions unopened bottle of Mumm Napa Champagne (from the locker room victory celebration)
  • Bat signed by Buster Posey
  • San Francisco cap signed by Matt Cain
  • Uniform jersey signed by¬† Tim Lincecum
  • Uniform jersey singed by Freddy Sanchez

The free-admission event will also feature raffle drawings and food and drink specials. Fans can watch the Giants play the Athletics on one of several big screen televisions at the event. All proceeds will go to the Rocket Dog Rescue, a group that is committed to helping homeless or abandoned dogs in the San Francisco area.
