Silent Auction to benefit 2012 Summit Retail Scholarships
LAS VEGAS – Organizers of The Industry Summit are planning a Silent Auction as part of Tuesday night’s festivities at the industry’s annual trade event.
The auction – suggested by TRISTAR executives Jeff Rosenberg and Janyce Mabra – will feature many companies’ “display’’ products from Meet The Industry and Corporate Home base booths. In addition, several attendees are creating special lots – including league, PA, manufacturer and retailer registrants.
All proceeds will go toward new-attendee Retail Scholarships to the 2012 Industry Summit.
“The Silent Auction is a fun way to provide additional value to this year’s Summit attendees – and at the same time, create initial funding for next year’s class of retail scholarship winners,’’ Mabra noted.
Attendees wishing to donate items to the Summit Silent Auction may contact host Kevin Isaacson (kisaacson@charter.net) or any Summit staff member during the March 20-23 event. Donations received between today and Monday, March 21, will be promoted via email to Summit attendees.
Items will go on display in the main meeting room Tuesday, March 22, with bidding available immediately after the afternoon Meet The Industry session.

@Corbin: no problem, it's easy writing about something when on you're on the right side of a one sided argument. I just hope that the card companies are serious about truley fixing the problem.
