SCP Auctions Announces Monthly Sports Auction Division

SCP Auctions, which specializes in sports memorabilia and cards, has announced the establishment of a monthly auction division. The monthly auctions will specifically deal with sports items in the low-$100 to low-$1,000 range. The idea is that it  will give such items more exposure than they would in a larger auction with lots of big-ticket lots.

The first monthly auction is scheduled to begin on June 27th. In addition to the many sports cards and memorabilia pieces, the auction will contain the second installment of the Red Auerbach Collection. Highlights of the auction are included below.

  • Red Auerbach's 1976 Boston Celtics Championship Ring
  • 1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Ty Cobb EX PSA 5
  • Babe Ruth Cut Signature NM-MT PSA 8
  • Roger Maris Single-Signed Baseball
  • Babe Ruth / Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball

Visit the SCP site for more information on other items in the first monthly collection. Also, view our article containing results from the first Auerbach auction.
