PSA to Display Babe Ruth Memorabilia at the National
In addition to the previously mentioned, limited-edition Babe Ruth Poster and SMR Magazine exclusive to the 2011 National, PSA has released other promotions, displays and deals planned for 32nd National.
PSA will have several featured items from the Babe Ruth master collection owned by Don Spence on display, as well as the items that are shown on the free Babe Ruth poster PSA is giving away at the convention. These items include an autographed Babe Ruth American League baseball (graded Mint + 9.5) and a 1927 payroll check to Ruth from the New York Yankees.
PSA will also play host to several giveaways at their booth. Collectors can register to win a variety of prizes. Highlights are listed below:
- 2003 Upper Deck Michael Jordan signed card
- Starlin Castro signed bat
- Ernie Banks signed baseball
- Brian Urlacher signed football
- Derrick Rose-signed basketball
- 1970 Topps Bobby Hull card graded PSA 8
- 1983 Topps Ryne Sandberg card graded PSA 9
- 1990 Leaf Frank Thomas card graded PSA 10
As an added note, PSA expects a large amount of cards to be submitted for grading at the National and encourages dealers and collectors to contact customer service at (800) 325-1121 or info@psacard.com to reserve a spot.
