Baseball Boss Announces Release of New Virtual Baseball Card Set
In honor of Father’s Day Baseball Boss has launched a new set of virtual cards, Rivals Series II, that features some of Major League Baseball’s greatest father and son player combinations.
The Friends and Rivals Series II trading card set is being offered free of charge. Registered Baseball Boss players earn the cards connecting Baseball Boss with their Facebook accounts and promoting the game to their Facebook friends. Each card is numbered and features photos of famous father and son combos. There are a total of 64 cards in the set and each can be used to play Baseball Boss.
“From coaching Little Leagues to playing catch in the backyard , fathers and baseball have been a cultural mainstay since baseball became the American national past time in the early-1900s,” says Jeff Petry, Vice President of Sports andamp; Licensed Properties for Challenge Games. “Baseball Boss’ Friends and Rivals Series II trading card set pays tribute to some superstar fathers and sons who played in the big leagues, but is homage to fathers and sons everywhere.”
The Baseball Boss game consists of a number of different activities. Players collect and trade virtual Baseball Boss branded, MLB licensed baseball cards of current and past MLB Stars. Players use these cards to create a baseball team of their dreams to challenge other players through a variety of head-to-head online games.
