Mariano Rivera and Steiner Sports Host Auction for Charity

A slew of New York sports legends showed up at a Steiner sponsored sports memorabilia charity auction dinner earlier this week to help raise money for the Family Services of Westchester. Mariano Rivera and Brandon Steiner of Steiner Sports co-hosted the event at The Clubhouse Grill (formerly Mo's New York Grill), a restaurant they own together. Just a few of the big names in attendance included Reggie Jackson, Dwight Gooden, Daryl Strawberry, Dave Winfield, Yogi Berra and Goose Goosage.

The $500 per head dinner allowed guests the opportunity to interact with the high profile sports icon attendees in an intimate setting. They also got the opportunity bid on the many valuable items for sale. Highlights of the auction were the chance to buy a personal lunch with Reggie Jackson or Mariano Rivera and New York Yankees tickets for seats directly behind the dugout, as well as the chance to purchase a large assortment of signed memorabilia donated by Steiner.

The event raised over $162,000 for the Family Services of Westchester which will go towards renovating the girls residence at their facility.
