Topps has announced the player redeemable for 2009 Topps Finest Baseball Rookie Redemption Card # 6 as San Diego Padres Outfielder Kyle Blanks. Collectors who submit Redemption Card #6 to Topps via their website will receive a 2009 Topps Finest rookie card of Blanks.
Throughout the 2009 Major League Baseball season, Topps will announce the remaining subjects in their 10-card 2009 Topps Finest Baseball Rookie Redemption set.
Each Master Box of 2009 Topps Finest Baseball includes one Rookie Redemption Card. Redemption cards also come in rarer Refractor (#’d to 199) and Gold Refractor (#’d to 50) parallels which have been randomly inserted throughout the production run in place of the standard redemptions.
