The first group of photos from the 2011 NFL Rookie Premiere will make their debut in the "New Breed" insert set of 2011 Donruss Elite. Visit our product preview for more information about the release.

The photos for the set come from the beginning of the NFL Rookie Premiere which explains why all players have "00" as their number. All participants wore this number on their jerseys for the first part of the promotional shoot. The long-term question remains whether collectors will embrace the "00" cards or if they will treat them as a lower-tier card and pursue the the more traditional cards with actual numbers.

The 36-card insert set will be will contain only players from the 2011 draft class. Panini has a look at the entire set posted on their blog.
