Illinois to Host 1st Annual FansEdge Sports Spectacular Sports Memorabilia Show
Preparations are nearly complete for the first annual FansEdge Sports Spectacular. The sports memorabilia show is scheduled to take place July 16-19, 2009 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
More than 50 athletes will be signing autographs at the show. The most high profile players attending the show include Cal Ripken Jr., Peyton Manning, Bill Russell, Ernie Banks, Willie Mays, Brian Urlacher, and Pete Rose.
"This year's roster of athletes is certain to generate an enormous response," said Mitch Adelstein, president of Mounted Memories regarding the upcoming event. "We are fortunate to have some of the most beloved players from the past and present scheduled to attend, along with new enhanced features that will make the Summer Sports Spectacular one of our best shows to date."
Here is a brief day by day breakdown of the show:
Thursday, July 16th: All attendees will receive free admission and all four days there will
be a free interactive area.
Friday, July 17th: "Price Rollback Day," Mounted Memories version of a "Hobby Stimulus
Plan," where 16 athletes including Pete Rose, Dick Butkus, Brian Urlacher, Jim Brown and many others will be signing autographs at yesterday`s pricing.
Saturday, July 18th: Hall of Fame baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr. will be signing autographs along with former NHL Hall of Famer Gordie Howe, professional wrestler Ric Flair and many others.
Sunday, July 19th: Three-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning will headline Sunday`s roster of athletes, joining MLB legends Willie Mays and Ernie Banks and a Super Bowl XXXI reunion of the Green Bay Packers.

I will be there! The Bench has a dealer booth. We will have a laptop and fliers and business cards advertising the site. We will also be trading for and collecting donations for our Yankee Stadium Legacy set charity drive! Lok for our banner. I hope to see some of you there!
