Washington Capitals Announce Home Game Memorabilia Auction

Now that the Washington Capitals have advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they are giving their fans more opportunities to take home rare NHL and Capital memorabilia.

At every home game a silent auction will take place in the concourse of section 119. Bidding for the items begins when the doors for the Verizon Center open and bidding will conclude at the end of the second intermission. Some of the items listed are an Alex Ovechkin game-used stick from his rookie year, game used pucks from the 2011 first round match up with the Rangers, and an autographed Gordie Howe jersey.
