Upper Deck's 2011 NHL Draft Exclusive Card Set and Autograph Signing

Upper Deck will be on-hand for the 2011 NHL Draft in St. Paul, Minnesota and has several events planned. Minnesota Wild defenseman, Brent Burns, will appear at the UD booth to sign oversized 5 x 7 cards from 11 AM to 12 PM on Saturday.

Promotional giveaways at the draft include a six-card set of former first-round NHL Draft picks and current Minnesota Wild standouts. The six players who fill the event-exclusive set include: Sidney Crosby, Steven Stamkos, Alex Ovechkin, Mikko Koivu, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Brent Burns. Fans can obtain the limited set by opening up three packs of any 2010-11 Upper Deck or O-Pee-Chee NHL trading card product at the booth with the exception of Victory.

Additionally, interactive events are also planned. A "Slap Shot" game for kids 13 and under will award prizes. The personalized card (P-Card) station will be available for fans to make event-branded, personalized trading cards.

Brent Burns was a 2003 first-round draft selection of the Wild. He has emerged as strong defender and scorer for Minnesota. Burns was selected to the 2011 All-Star game.
