Help brentandbecca Raise Money for the American Red Cross

Case breaker and Cardboard Connection contributor, Brent Williams (you probably know him as brentandbecca), has a "rookie card" in 2013 Topps Football. He's using a copy of the card to raise money for the American Red Cross. Williams has set up an auction for a card that he signed and inscribed "brentandbecca 1/1." There's also an inscription of, "God Bless! Jn 3:30" on the back. While he's open to signing more cards that send him requests, this is the only one he's signing in blue ink with the inscription on the back. He has numbered it 1/1 on the front.

Bidding on the autographed 2013 Topps Football Brent Williams card has already topped $300 for the cards. The auction is scheduled to close on Wednesday, August 28 at about 11:30PM EST (8:30 PST). All proceeds from the auction go to the American Red Cross.

Williams got a spot on the 2013 Topps Football checklist by winning a Golden Ticket contest from last year's set. The card isn't part of the base set. Rather, it's an ultra-rare short print.

If bidding on the card is too high but you'd still like to donate to the American Red Cross, click here.

Ryan's collecting origins began with winter bike rides to the corner store, tossing a couple of quarters onto the counter and peddling home with a couple packs of O-Pee-Chee hockey in his pocket. Today, he continues to build sets, go after inserts with cool technologies, chase Montreal Expos and finish off his John Jaha master collection.
