Who Are the NFL’s Hottest Players Heading into Week 3?
The NFL's second week featured many storylines, led by the hyped return of Michael Vick to Atlanta as a starting quarterback. The return of didn't go as planned, with Vick suffering a concussion during the game.
Rookie Cam Newton played well facing a tough Green Bay defense. His two touchdowns were overshadowed, though, by his three interceptions.
The Colts have gotten off to a horrible start and might want to start scouting for a high pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Lions and Bills are turning heads, looking very dangerous in their respective divisions.
Finally, Tom Brady followed up his 500-yard game with a 400-yard outing, helping making the Patriots look very tough once again.
Here are some other Week 2 standouts:
Tony Romo
Dallas Cowboys, QB
Tony Romo had an outstanding three quarters during Week 1 versus the Jets. However, he faltered in the fourth with a goal line fumble and a key interception in the Cowboys' loss to the Jets. Last weekend, Romo was heroic, putting himself back in the game in the third quarter despite a broken rib and punctured lung. He went on to lead the Cowboys to a dramatic overtime win against the 49ers. Romo finished the game with two touchdowns, 345 yards passing, and silenced the critics of his leadership ability.
With a forgettable 2010, Romo's card values dropped significantly. However, they moved upward this past week. His 2003 SP Authentic rookie card jumped $40 after the win. Still, his other certified autographs are more affordable than in past years.

Fred Jackson
Buffalo Bills, RB
Fred Jackson followed up a solid Week 1 with an outstanding two-touchdown and 117-yard performance against the Raiders. Jackson averaged 7.8 yards per carry and capped off his outstanding week with a 43-yard touchdown run.
Jackson does not have many certified autographs on the market but his 2011 Topps Game Day Autographs have jumped more than 25 percent in the last two weeks. The Bills are 2-0 but they will be tested this week against the Patriots. Should Jackson lead his team to an upset, look for his cards to soar even further.

Andy Dalton, QB / A.J. Green, WR
Cincinnati Bengals
Co-Rookies of the Week
Andy Dalton and A.J. Green had breakout games for the Cincinnati Bengals, who have completely overhauled their offense. Both players struggled in Week 1 but rebounded in Week 2, showing why they where picked so high in the 2011 draft. Dalton, a former TCU star, threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns. Green, a standout at Georgia, added ten catches for 124 yards and one touchdown.
Both players are featured on very nice dual autograph cards in 2011 Topps Finest, Topps Inception and Topps Platinum.
