Cardboard Connection’s 2010 All-Football Rookie Card Teams
Now that the regular season has come to a close, it's high time we got around to naming our 2010 Cardboard Connection All-Football Rookie Card Teams. There are a total of three teams and for the sake of sanity, we decided go with a fantasy football format, meaning that each team features a QB, HB, WR, TE, 3 Offensive Flex and 3 Defensive Flex. For obvious reasons Kickers were left out. Due to the fact that the QB is the king of cards, we allowed Quarterbacks to qualify as Offensive Flex on the 3rd team only.
A combination of on-field play and hobby performance were the two main factors used when putting together each team. Some players like C.J. Spiller and Demaryius Thomas probably didn't deserve to make one of the three teams, but ultimately their early season hobby performance and long term potential were enough to beat out a handful of players with slightly better stats.

With 2010 Playoff Contenders, 2010 SP Authentic, 2010 National Treasures and 2010 Topps Five Star on the way, the football rookie card landscape should drastically improve in coming months. Ultimately, the odds are good that when all is said and done, these products will deliver 4 of the top 5 rookie autos of the 2010 football card season.
