10 Hottest 2011 Topps Prime Football Rookie Autograph Variations

2011 Topps Prime Football has one of the largest rookie autograph crops of the season. Fifty regular base cards have serial numbered autograph variations. One of the keys is that they're not all numbered to the same amount. While some of the lesser-known players have upwards of 450 copies each, others are limited to as few as 99 cards. Add to that a handful of redemptions (none of the key players, though) and you've got a somewhat complex mix that could hold a sleeper or two in the years to come.

Here's a list of the top 10 hottest 2011 Topps Prime Football Rookie Autograph Variations based on realized prices. This does not include parallels.

1. Cam Newton (/200)

2. Mark Ingram (/99)

Ryan's collecting origins began with winter bike rides to the corner store, tossing a couple of quarters onto the counter and peddling home with a couple packs of O-Pee-Chee hockey in his pocket. Today, he continues to build sets, go after inserts with cool technologies, chase Montreal Expos and finish off his John Jaha master collection. Ryan can be found on Twitter @tradercracks and Google+.

  1. i won a picture frame with a 2011 aqua aaron rodgers, clay mathews and a upper deck sterling sharpe. what do you think the value is? all in perfect condition, all autograped

  2. cary lee (ID 36301) ยป Were the cards inserted in packs or signed afterward? That would greatly affect the potential value. If they weren’t inserted in packs, to get top-dollar you’d likely need a certificate of authenticity from a reputable dealer or someone like PSA or JSA. Sounds like a cool piece.
