First Impressions:
In 2009, my favorite product was Topps Magic, a collegiate endorsed pro product. Although I am a bigger fan of pro sports than college sports, Magic was extremely refreshing & showed that when in the right hands, college products can be pretty cool. I've never been a big fan of SPx in the past, but am finding myself increasingly intrigued to see how Upper Deck's first go with the college license goes. One thing is certain, it is definitely a great time to be a college sports fan, Upper Deck should bring some year long intrigue to a sub-genre once reserved for pre-season post-draft products.
