Fictional Millionaire’s 2010 Football Card eBay Shopping Spree
Rather than set a price limit, I decided to pretend that I was a wealthy self-made millionaire who got rich by investing in .Com companies and erectile dysfunction medications in the 90's. Clearly I was savvy enough to bail on the .Com's before the crash in addition to getting in on the ground floor of the E.D. revolution.
Each card was selected with the assumption that they were for keeping rather than flipping. The only catch, I had just 15-minutes to purchase 10 cards. I also used completed auctions in the spree, assuming a man of my wealth would have won the respective auction or bought the overpriced "Buy it Now".

2010 Playoff Contenders Sam Bradford 1/1 Golden Ticket - $11,999.99
- Total Spent = $22,544.84
- Best Buy = Sam Bradford Golden Ticket (though the price was extremely marked up)
- Biggest Regret = Not grabbing a 2010 Exquisite Collection Sam Bradford Patch Auto
- 11th Card = 2010 Topps Joe Webb 1/1 Sketch Card
I think I made some nice additions to my Adrian Peterson and head coach autograph collection. I was also pleased to add a couple of book cards to my collection. Collectors are divided when it comes to book cards, but I am a huge fan of them. The one regret was that I was too indecisive in picking out the 2010 Exquisite Collection Sam Bradford patch autograph I had planned to purchase so I just moved on. The one card I am glad I resisted the urge to purchase was a 1/1 Joe Webb Topps Sketch card that carried a price tag of $699.99.
