Ellen DeGeneres Auctions NBA Memorabilia for Tornado Victims
Ellen DeGeneres announced on her show "Ellen" that she will be auctioning NBA memorabilia with the proceeds going to Noah's Wish and the American Red Cross to help victims of the tornadoes in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Ellen received the items from various NBA teams with the hope that she would support them on their run in the playoffs.
Highlights of the auction include a a pair of autographed shoes from Lamar Odom, a Mavericks' team basketball signed by 20 players, an autographed jersey from Dirk Nowitzki, a San Antonio Spurs jersey personalized "Ellen" and signed by 14 members of the team, and a pair of Kevin Durant's shoes. All items will be sold in team-themed lots.
