Blake Griffin’s National Treasures Rookie Cards Catch Fire in the Secondary Market
During the 2009-10 basketball season, the title of the hobby's top hoops rookie belonged to Kings' swingman Tyreke Evans, who was also the 2009-10 NBA Rookie of the Year. Though Brandon Jennings had his moments, Evans ultimately went unopposed in the hobby, this was in large part due to the absence of the top pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Blake Griffin, who's season was ended by injury before it had a chance to begin. This season, Griffin is well on his way to re-writing hobby history through putting up monster numbers and throwing down monster jams.
Blake Griffin technically qualifies as a rookie during the 2010-11 NBA season, but his rookie cards don't, as every one of the Oklahoma alum's RC's are found in 2009-10 basketball products. With each passing dunk, Griffin's cards gain a little more steam, the type of steam that could eventually take that which injury took from him, the status as basketball's premier rookie card from the 2009-10 season.

This is a prospector’s dream.
Last year, Griffin cards held high but still were moderatly cheap for the taking.
Now, it is out of this world.

@Stephane: Agreed, I had a few that I traded away, fortunately I got lucky in that the cards I traded for were Mike Trout Bowman Chrome Refractor Autos.
