Veterans Take 2010-11 Timeless Treasures Basketball By Storm
Since last year's 2009-10 Timeless Treasures Basketball dropped, you'd be hard pressed to find a more popular card in the world of basketball cards than Panini's laundry tag and NBA logoman relics. The popularity of these cards has led to a resurgance of interest in both veteran and legend cards.
Though Timeless Treasures certainly won't be giving National Treasures' logoman and laundry relics a run for their money, they are still going for hundreds of dollars a pop on eBay and in the case of Kobe Bryant's logoman auto, selling for $3,100!
An interesting trend seems to be developing in the sports card landscape, veteran and legend cards are selling better than they typically have over the past decade. Maybe collectors are getting burnt out on chasing what's next and are instead turning their focus to what's now and what was.
