2010 Playoff Contenders Basketball Short Print Checklist

2010 Playoff Contenders Basketball Short Print Checklist

Panini America has announced the official short print checklist for 2010 Playoff Contenders Basketball.

“Unlike football, where there were more than 100 rookies in the autographed Rookie Ticket insert, there are just 35 rookie players in Contenders Basketball,” said Panini Basketball Brand Manager David Porter. “But even with a considerably smaller rookie checklist, some of the Rookie Ticket cards were still produced in fewer quantities than others in the set.”

Each of the following players had cards short printed to 499 or fewer copies:

  • Hasheem Thabeet
  • James Harden
  • Tyreke Evans
  • Jordan Hill
  • Brandon Jennings
  • Tyler Hansbrough.

These players had cards in Playoff Contenders that were produced to 649 or fewer copies:

  • Blake Griffin
  • Dante Cunningham
  • Earl Clark
  • Jonny Flynn
  • Stephen Curry
  • Terrence Williams

Mike Smeth is the Owner of The Cardboard Connection. After collecting baseball cards for much of his youth, he took a 12-year hiatus from the hobby. One muggy summer day in 2006 he unexpectedly came across his childhood baseball card collection while packing up for an upcoming move. With every intention of selling them on Craigslist, Mike began sorting through them. Somewhere between the 3rd and 4th box, he rediscovered his passion for collecting and hasn't looked back since.
