Clearly, LeBron James is the protagonist of the plot that is the 2009-10 NBA Playoffs, but that doesn't mean there's a lack of interesting subplots. One of the most intriguing stories of this years playoffs has been the story of the underrated and the forgotten.
Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo represent two of the games most underrated young stars, especially Rondo. Then there's the story of Vince Carter, Jason Richardson, and Steve Nash, three players that time seems to have forgotten. Below are several old cardboard favorites and some new ones, all of which could see a major book boost if they can boost their teams to the finals.
