Toronto Blue Jays Go Back to the Future with New Logo

Shortly after the Florida Marlins had their upcoming logo leaked, the Toronto Blue Jays suffered a similar fate as their new look made its way around the Internet and was confirmed legit by Uni Watch.

The new design has a decidedly retro feel. It features a simple layout with a more realistic take on the namesake bird. The team is also honoring their Canadian heritage by working a maple leaf back into the logo. The logo bears a strong resemblance to team's classic look.

The response has been somewhat muted, partly because the change isn't drastically different from other logos in the team's history and, partially, because the Blue Jays don't have a huge fan base outside of Canada.

Either way, change is coming to MLB, one leak at a time.
