Roberto Clemente Back with Topps

After a two-year absence from new Topps products, collectors can expect to find Roberto Clemente cards again soon. The company has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Hall of Famer's estate.
With the contract, Topps can offer a variety of baseball cards, including cut signature autographs and memorabilia cards. 2012 Topps Series 1 Baseball will be the first set with the new cards.
Dating back to his rookie card in 1955, Topps has a long history with the legend. In 1998, Topps honored Clemente with an insert set reprinting the cards from his playing days.
