Amazing Sports Auction Underway

Huggins and Scott Auctions is hosting a huge, two-day event with almost 900 lots and containing memorabilia and cards from baseball, football, hockey and baseball, as well as some non-sports items.

The first day of the auction took place on June 1st and contained such notable items as a Babe Ruth/Lou Gehrig dual-signed baseball, Ty Cobb signed baseball, 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card, complete set of 1956 Topps Baseball cards and a 1928 baseball signed by Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jack Slattery, Jacob Ruppert, Rogers Hornsby and Earl Clark.

Day two will take place on June 2nd and includes larger lots. Highlights include 22 single-signed baseballs from all 22 members of the 500 home run club; a lot containing baseball jerseys signed by Ken Griffey Jr, Mark McGwire, Cal Ripken Jr, Frank Robinson, Alex Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan, Sammy Sosa, Ichiro Suzuki and Jim Thome; and a complete set of 1953-54 Parkhurst Hockey cards.
