A Message from Ron Swanson: Inscription Autographs in Parks and Recreation Trading Cards – UPDATE

Parks and Recreation is one of the most quotable shows on television today. It's quirky humor results in some great one-liners that have been tossed around many offices and message boards. 2013 Press Pass Parks and Recreation is bringing some of those gags with a series of Inscription Autographs.

Nick Offerman, who plays Ron Swanson on the show, has added inscriptions to 29 cards. All are considered one-of-ones. Like Swanson, many of the inscriptions are quirky and just a little bit random. Some samples to look for include:

  • L'il Sebastian
  • Scotch
  • Red Meat
  • Funerals & the Grand Canyon
  • Oak
  • Christian Becksvoort!
  • Ron Swanson
  • Breakfast Food
  • America
  • Duke Silver
  • I Have the Toes I Have
  • Canoe
  • Sweet-Ass Pistol

Besides Offerman, several other 2013 Press Pass Parks and Recreation signers have inscription autographs. They include Amy Poehler, Rob Lowe, Paul Rudd, Fred Armisen, Jay Jackson, Jim O'Heir, Megan Mullally and Retta.

Combining to fall two per box, autographs come in a handful of different versions. Basic, Inscription and Red Ink autographs come unnumbered. There are also Gold Metallic cards numbered to 99 and Red Metallic versions numbered to 25.

2013 Press Pass Parks and Recreation is scheduled to release on June 5.
