35-Signature Card Unveiled for 2012 Topps Football
After teasing something big on Cardboard Connection Radio earlier this afternoon, Topps unveiled a massive 35-signature card that will be included in 2012 Topps Football.
The card has autographs from 35 rookies. All participated in the 2012 Rookie Premiere. To fit all of the signatures on the card, several double-sided panels were required.
The card is a one-of-one and is a late confirmation for the set. 2012 Topps Football gets its official release on Wednesday, August 8.
Panini released a card with autographs and patch pieces from all of the 2011 Rookie Premiere participants in 2011 National Treasures. The hinged card measured several feet long when folded out. Limited to five copies, one dealer recently made hobby headlines for separately one of them to sell to individual player collectors.
