2014 Topps MLS Variation Short Prints Guide

2014 Topps MLS Variation Short Prints Guide

Those who collect Topps products, particularly the cheaper sets, have become accustomed to variations. Most sets have 20 or more. At long odds, these can be tough to find. The 2014 Topps MLS variations are a little easier.

The set has just five variations, or short prints as the Topps-issued checklist states. Each is designed like the base card but with a different photo. They're not too hard to spot -- if you know what you're looking for.

The checklist includes some of the league's most recognized players like Landon Donovan and Thierry Henry. Each of the rare variations shows the featured player in blue jerseys worn in a match between the 2013 MLS All-Stars and Italy's AS Roma.

Check out the 2014 Topps MLS variations below. They're paired with the base versions to make them easy to spot.

  1. It doesn’t look as if the Graham Zusi Short Print Variation has been issued….

  2. Alan » It’s still early. A lot of times people miss the variations. Even on a large release like 2014 Topps Heritage Baseball it took nearly two weeks for all of them to surface. This could be longer as it’s not nearly as popular.
