2014 Secret Audio Club Wax Packs Series 1 mashes up collecting vinyl and cards. It's an innovative new product that mixes music and trading cards all in the same package.

Each pack is a 7" vinyl record. The trick is, you don't know which record you're getting. It's a lot like a pack of cards in that regard. Records feature a mix of new music, live tracks and acoustic renditions. A full set of vinyl has ten records.

Vinyl collectors have an affinity for color much like modern card collectors and the many parallels that come with today's sets. Besides a basic Black Vinyl, each 7" also has a Color Vinyl version that is limited to 150 copies and a second colored version that is hand-numbered to 50. Each five-pack box is guaranteed to have a parallel vinyl.

2014 Secret Audio Club Wax Packs Series 1 also has a trading card component. Inserted one per box as a box topper, there are 20 different cards to collect -- one for each band that's featured in the product. To be exact, there's 19 different bands. Half Hearted Hero has a full record to themselves so they appear on two cards. Cards, which are limited to 150 copies each, also have a digital download code that unlocks all of the songs.
