2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek Aliens trading cards focus on the franchise's extra terrestrials. And we're not just talking one series. The set covers more than 700 episodes from every small-screen interpretation plus the first ten films (ie the ones without lens flares).

The base set has 100 cards. So not every alien race is going to get the spotlight, but there's still plenty to go around. It's complimented by a Gold parallel set.

Autographs lead the chase. It's notable for having the first signed cards from Whoopi Goldberg. The Oscar-winner (and one-time center square on Hollywood Squares) had a recurring role on The Next Generation as Guinan.

Other signers confirmed for 2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek Aliens include Leonard Nimoy (Spock), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), John de Lancie (Q), Malcolm McDowell (Dr. Soran) and Michael Dorn (Worf). In all, there are more than 60 autographs in the set.

Basic inserts include Stickers (18 cards, 1:16 packs), First Appearances (nine cards, 1:24), Quotable Klingon (nine cards, 1:24) and Ships (nine cards, 1:24). Six Badge/Pin manufactured relics (1:288) round out the main part of the product.

Every case comes with either a Borg or Klingon Poster Card by Juan Ortiz, who was the base set artist for 2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek Portfolio Prints. A Warren Martinek sketch card is the six-case incentive. Those ordering nine cases get a painted sketch card from Mick or Matt Glebe (or a jam card with both of their work). An Archive Box is available to those who order 18 cases. This box includes an exclusive relic card not available anywhere else.

There's also a 2014 Rittenhouse Star Trek Aliens custom binder that has an exclusive promo card.
