Rookies and stars -- it doesn't get more direct than that. 2013 Panini Rookies & Stars Football takes one of the hobby's longest running brands and goes with what made it such a respected name among. Each 2013 Panini Rookies & Stars hobby box is led by the promise of a pair of autographs and two additional autographs or memorabilia cards. Basic inserts and parallels are also plentiful.

Marking the brand's 15th anniversary, 2013 Panini Rookies & Stars Football includes several names from the past. High-end returnees include Rookie Premiere Slideshow Signatures (#/125 or less), Team Chemistry (#/99 or less) dual autographs and Rookie Materials Signatures. Crusade and Rookie Crusade cards return. One of the most popular insert sets of the 1990s, the cards include four levels of colorful parallels numbered to 99, 49, 5 and 1. Other insert sets from Rookies & Stars' past include Touchdown Club and Game Plan.

Cross Training is a memorabilia set that focuses on first-year players participating at the Rookie Combine. Cards are available with both plain swatches and patches.

Besides the four promised hits, 2013 Panini Rookies & Stars Football hobby boxes come with at least six parallels and eight total basic inserts. Nearly every pack will have some sort of insert. Every pack also includes one rookie card.
